This foundational course covers California gun laws, safe storage, responsible ownership, and hands-on safe handling — everything you need to be a confident, law-abiding gun owner in Sacramento, CA. This class includes the California Firearm Safety Certificate Test, required for anyone 21+ who intends to purchase a firearm in the state. Kids 8-17 will be given age-appropriate activities to take home.

This course covers grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger & breath control, use of speed loaders & manual loading, proper storage, Criminal & Civil liabilities, proper ammunition, malfunction mitigation, and safe gun handling — the core skills & knowledge every shooter needs regardless of experience level. Beginners and returning shooters are both welcome. Book online — small class sizes mean more range time and direct instructor feedback.
