About the event
This training is administered over 2 days (8 hours each), with a majority of instruction administered in the classroom & a live-fire range qualification. Students are responsible for bringing his/her own firearm, 200 rounds of ammunition per firearm, holster, belt, 2 magazines or 2 speed loaders for revolvers, eye & ear protection.
**To pass this course and obtain certification, the student will need to complete the required course of fire with a minimum passing score set by the student's county Sheriff's Department. Students are allowed 2 tries at achieving a passing range qualification score. If a student fails BOTH qualification attempts, the student will be required to wait at least 48 hours AND pay additional instruction & range fees to attempt the range qualification again. **
Day 2 will always be on the following Saturday.
